Book 3, Edits and my dog...

Ok So.... I have not posted anything in ages, you have my apologies. I have a good excuse though- I am diligently typing away at book 3- things are running smooth and I am loving where this story is taking us. I might drop a hint or two in later blogs so say tuned!

Paper back release- I am still working with the Editor on Book 1. Fine tuning some things here and there and fixing the little errors that can be found in the book. We are still on tack and my hope is for the release to be pre Christmas 2013!

I noticed that book 2, A Broken Fate, was updated to kindle incorrectly and for whatever reason, there are some pretty annoying errors in that book. If anyone wants a free copy of the ebook that has been better tweeked, email me or post below and I would be happy to send it to you at no charge. I will be re-editing this one as well for the paperback version.

I just wanted to post proof that I am working on book 3- My dog Frank- a three year old fox terrier/mx is happy as a clam now that I am back to work. He is always at my side, and when I write, I tend to keep in one spot for hours and sometimes even days. It so happens that Frank is the laziest dog in history and loves to sleep- so here he is napping the afternoon away on his perch right next to me. We kind of have a BoBo/ Phil Robertson relationship.

A quick note from the author....

I would like to start my post today by offering my apologies. I have not posted anything on my blog for what seems like ages and I now have an overwhelming amount of guilt building up inside me. I can say that my blogging absence is only because I am spending my time concentrating on The Beautiful Fate Series. A Beautiful Fate and A Broken Fate are currently undergoing another round of editing in preparation for their release on paperback. I really hope to have A Beautiful Fate ready on paperback by this Christmas.

In addition, I have been working tirelessly on A Forsaken Fate, the third novel in the series. Currently, I am writing the novel and I have just begun to get back in to the swing of things. I have been really enjoying the process and it feels great to write again and to feel the addiction of the written word coursing through my veins.

When the release of the first novel came out this past summer, I was definitely pleasantly shocked with the response I received from fans. The novel was rewarded with fantastic reviews and countless 5 star ratings. I would like very much to thank everyone who has taken the time to rate and review the work. It really helps me spread the word on my novels.

I must admit that with the good reviews also comes some not so nice ones and it is because of this that I had to take a step back from interviews and responses on some websites. I found that some comments, even the good ones, can be stifling and repressive to my creativity. I still read and fully enjoy the reviews on Amazon and Goodreads and I urge you comment on the story.

Although I am a professional author, I write solely for my own enjoyment. I write for myself. I write the characters that I want to read about, hang out with and learn from. Ava and Ari interest me. I like who they are and I like where they come from. I plan to continue to write my stories the way I see fit. I will write until I am satisfied that the whole story has been told.

I hope you, as a reader, stick with me on this journey. We will find that Ari and Ava’s story has not yet been all told. With A Forsaken Fate, relationships end, family ties are cut and life, as Ava knows it, may be over for her, Max and the newest edition to the Alexander clan.

If you’ve read the series please don’t be shy, give it a review today on Amazon.com and Goodreads. Your words are really appreciated by me.
